Ideas For Traditional Wedding Scrapbook Pages, Digital Wedding Scrapbook Page Layouts, and Hybrid Wedding Scrapbook Ideas
Wedding scrapbooks, happy memories to share! From the professional pictures to the candid shots, a wedding scrapbook is a joy to view. You can capture all the magic and wonderment of the day with a few basic wedding scrapbook ideas:
Be sure and place disposable cameras at all the tables during the reception. You never know what priceless pictures you might find when you develop them!
Try taking some black and white photos. Here's a simple black and white photography tip: use your digital software to convert a color photograph to black and white. Sometimes eliminating the color from the picture allows the emotion of the picture to come shining through!
Take some pictures of wedding "things," as in the cake and the shoes and the bouquet and the cake topper and the food -- all these things may bring back a special thought later.
Don't include just the "posed" shots, but use some pictures that aren't quite so perfect for a little more character and "life" in your album.
Here I used Stampin' Up!'s My Digital Studio to make this simple and easy wedding scrapbook page. First I changed the photograph to a black and white picture right in the digital scrapbooking software. I then increased the size of the picture to fit the page and reduced the opacity some. I added a white cardstock strip across the bottom and put the opacity at about 50% to give it the look of vellum. I added some embellishments and a saying from the stamp images included in the program, typed up the date, and that was it!
In this wedding layout I used a number of elements from My Memories Suite. This is another of my favorites for digital scrapbooking. In fact, this and the Stampin' Up! program are made by the same company. Coincidence??? I think not!
