Scrapbooking Your Job
Scrapbooking your job will present the same challenges faced in
military scrapbooking,
but aside from specific scrapbook paper you can find stickers or three-dimensional elements to add to your pages that are job-specific. I love Jolee's Boutique 3-D stickers! Other than the fact that you "stick" them on your page, these can hardly be called stickers. They are so finely detailed with stitching and beautiful finishing touches, they will make your scrapbooking a lot more fun. You will find that Jolee's Boutique 3-D stickers come in a variety of themes that can add a really special touch to your scrapbook pages honoring the hero in YOUR life.
Another way to get job-specific elements to add to your scrapbook page layouts is to take items and either photograph them or scan them. On the nursing page we have copied and reduced the nursing diploma to include a smaller version on the page. You could do this with medals, badges, ribbons, or other important or hard-to-include items so they won't be left out.
Be sure to use buffered paper when adding items that may not be acid-free, such as newspaper clippings, and slide the page into a page protector to keep other adjoining pages and photos safe. Another way around that problem is to copy the newspaper clipping onto acid and lignin-free paper and include that instead.
Military Scrapbooking
Military scrapbooking can be a satisfying way to honor your loved ones who have served bravely in defense of our country.
