H

HAND TINTING - Application of color to a black and white photograph.

HEADING (title) - A caption that introduces the theme or subject of the layout for the viewer.

HEAT GUN - Also known as an embossing gun. It's my understanding that this tool was originally used as a paint stripper by painters, but stampers and scrapbookers being the creative people they are, they came up with a different use for it. It is used to heat embossing powders to create raised images and has other craft uses. It puts out heat, but not air. No, it is not just like a hair dryer!

HEIRLOOM (heritage) - Related to scrapbooking, this can either refer to an old photograph or memorabilia or mean that it just looks antique or old-fashioned.

HERITAGE SCRAPBOOKING - a scrapbook album consisting of historical information and memorabilia of a family.

HYBRID SCRAPBOOKING - a form of scrapbooking that uses a mixture of traditional "paper" scrapbooking and digital scrapbooking.
