Ardastra Gardens, Bahamas

This layout is of our trip to a small botanical garden and zoo in Nassau, Bahamas called Ardastra Gardens. On the left, I used a title, flamingo, and map from their garden pamphlet. I also added a postcard that shows flowers of the Bahamas, and then 2 pictures that I took at the gardens. I decorated the bottom with diecut grass, flower stickers and leaves from a Martha Stewart punch. On the right, I mixed postcards, my own photos, a jolee’s dimensional parrot, and some white butterfly rub ons from American Crafts. The lemurs at the bottom were cut out with an x-acto blade. For the background, I chose a flowery tropical pattern that I thought would work well with my theme.
